Spruce up your look
A good-looking profile is key to engagement and interaction. Check out some of our favourite profile designs on B2Me:

Now that you’re inspired, let’s make your profile beautiful.
Step 1: Your photo
Let’s get your photo sorted first. Put your smiling face up to help people make a human connection.
For best results, crop your photo to a square (so that you can control where your face appears!), and make sure the image is between 1400×1400px and 4000×4000px.
1. Go to your profile.
2. Click on your photo or photo placeholder.
Step 2: Your header image
Rather than a boring blue background, or one of the common stock headers, you can upload a custom background – if you’re on the Essentials plan.
1. Go to your profile.
2. Click the camera symbol button in the bottom right corner of your header.
For best results, make sure the image is ~1920x500 (as a minimum) and set to landscape ratio
Step 3: Video and images
Adding a video to your profile is a great way to showcase your services and offerings. People love video – especially if it’s good. 😉 You can add a video to your profile if you’re on the Essentials plan.
1. Put your video up on YouTube.
2. On your video’s page, click the “Share” link, then “Copy”.
3. Paste the link into the “add a video” section of your profile.
To remove your video, click the three dots in the top right of the video and select “remove this video”.
Make sure to add photos and images to your profile so that people can get a better feel for what you do. These could include samples of your work, infographics explaining what you do, or photos of you at work. Anything that helps people get a better feel for you.
Step 4: Other profile details
Make sure to fill in the rest of your profile, like your name, business name, profession, category, and location. Write a brief explanation of who you are and what you do in the “Brief” section – keep it simple and to the point. You can expand on it in the “About you” section, but it’s probably better to keep this part simple too – more cereal packet than Shakespeare.
Edit your profile details by clicking the “Edit profile details” button in the header of your profile.
Step 5: Community affiliations
Joining communities is a great way of connecting with people and building your network. Plus, it helps people get a better understanding of who you are and find their way to you through those networks. You may have been invited to B2Me by a community group – but you’re not limited to just that one. You may already be part of a community group offline that’s on B2Me – just search to find them. And if you can’t find it, why not set it up?
