Setting up a User administration account
This account will be displayed as the admin on your community page and will be the account in which you accept / reject new member requests and adjust community settings. Follow these steps to set up a new User account:
- Head to B2Me and click on 'FREE SIGN UP' and enter in the email you want to set the account up with and a strong password, then click 'Sign up' in the bottom right corner of the modal.
- Under 'User type' select 'User' then you can upload a profile picture and enter a first and last name for your user account. Click next until your account is complete.

- You'll be taken to your B2Me profile page. This page is where you can make edits to your profile, such as changing your name, avatar and contact details. You can come back to this page by clicking your avatar in the top right corner of the page.

- The 'Account' tab will allow you to change your account email, password and allow you to adjust your privacy and notification settings.
Thats it! You've now got your B2Me admin User account set up, now onto creating your community.
Creating your community
This section will cover creating your community, the settings to consider for your community and the various community pages.
All communities created on B2Me must be approved, this means that your community will be unapproved when you first create it. Unapproved communities will not show up in search or suggestions and users will be unable to view and join your community. When your community profile is complete, contact Ray (ray@b2me.com.au) to get your community approved.
Creating your community:
- Login to your admin User account created above
- Once logged in, head to your B2Me profile page by clicking your avatar, clicking account and then clicking the 'Profile' tab.
- On the left, click 'Create a community' to open the community creation dialog

- In this dialog you'll be able to add your community name, category and other community profile attributes. At the moment it's not necessary to fill these all out (you can add / change these later), only a name, category and location are required to create the community. Once finished, click 'Save'.

- You'll then be taken to your newly created community. NOTE: your community is unapproved and as such will not be visible to anyone but you. Contact Ray (ray@b2me.com.au) to get your community approved.

Community page sections
There are 3 community page sections (4 for admins), they are 'About', 'Members' and 'Noticeboard'.
About Page - Displays information about your community / school. This is where the 'Brief' and 'About' sections of your community profile will be displayed. Profile photos will also appear on this page.

Members Page - The members page is where all of your community members will be listed. Community members who are also providers will be categorised into their respective industries.

Noticeboard Page - The Noticeboard page displays all of your community notices. A community notice is a post that goes out to your members. Notices will be discussed in more detail later.

Admin Page - This page is only visible to admins (you) and allows you to change community wide settings. Here you can choose to have a 'Closed' community, this means any users who want to be a member of your community must first be approved by you (schools usually choose a closed community). You can also choose to enable / disable your notice board and to allow any members to create notices or just admins. The page also contains quick links so you can share your new community.

Editing your community profile
Community details - To edit your community's details (name, category, about, brief etc), click the 'Edit <Community name here>'s details' button located in the header of all community pages. This will display the same dialog when you created the community.

Contact information - B2Me allows you to add contact information such as websites, emails, telephone numbers etc., to your community. To do so, head to your community's 'About' page or 'Noticeboard' and click 'edit contact details' in the left side pane. Contact information will then appear above the button in the left side pane.

Header photo - A great way to make your community page standout it with a custom header photo. Important: B2Me accepts only JPEG or PNG images no larger than 10MB in size. To upload your header image select the photo icon in the bottom right corner of your community page header.

Profile photos - Navigate to your community's 'About' page and click 'Add photo' to add profile photos to your page. You can rearrange and delete uploaded photos by clicking the three dots in the top right corner of the images.

Accepting membership requests
(Make sure you've selected 'Closed community' in your community admin page.)
As the admin of a closed community, you must accept or reject all memberships. This allows you to control who is a member of your community.
Membership requests - Any registered users on B2Me can request to join your community by visiting your community page and clicking 'JOIN THIS COMMUNITY'. When a membership is requested, all admins will be notified or this request.

Viewing pending memberships - All pending memberships can be viewed by navigating to your community's members page. Pending memberships are located at the top under 'Pending' and are only visible to community admins.

Simple click 'ACCEPT' or 'IGNORE' to accept or ignore the membership request. The user will only be notified if you accept their membership request.
Inviting users to join your community
- Navigate to your 'Members' page
- In the top of the left side pane there is a search box which you can use to search for people on B2Me
- Search the person you wish to invite and click on their profile, this will send an invitation to them asking to join your community.

Creating notices
Community notices are a great way to communicate with your community members and have them engage with you and other members on B2Me.
To create a notice:
- Navigate to your community's 'Noticeboard'
- In the left side pane, select 'CREATE NOTICE'
- This will open the notice dialog where you'll be able to add a title and description (the body of the notice). Tip: you are able to put links inside a notice body.

Check out Bayside Christian College here for some good examples of community notices.
